indian motorcycle - custom memento
Working on these custom mementos for Indian Motorcycle was a lot of fun. A great brand to work and such a visually powerful logo. The result was a very unique custom memento.

medicare local awards - custom design
The team at Andrew Watson Design has just completed the awards for the 2013 Medicare Local Awards. This was a custom design created exclusively for the Medicare Awards.
We used high quality anodised aluminium to create the awards and printed the text and graphics with a UV flatbed printing process. We avoided using cheap materials such as acrylic and plastics and the printing was also chosen over laser engraving.

custom designed and handcrafted shadow box plaque
This custom designed and handcrafted shadow box plaque has just been created by Andrew Watson Design.
The design is a contemporary interpretation of an old fashioned shadow box plaques which are typically over detailed, use materials and colours that are clumsy, not attractive and not modern. This new custom shadow box plaque design is refreshing, modern and timeless. This is a design that can be appreciated for many years to come.
For this particular custom shadow box plaque we used a sustainably sourced hardwood; Maple. The hardwood was then finished with a 1500 grit sandpaper to achieve a very smooth surface feel. It was then finished with a clear Danish oil.
The two plaques inside the hardwood box were made from clear anodised aluminium with a UV flat bed digital print sprayed directly to the metal surface (not a vinyl decal).
The plaques were then offset inside the shadow box at different heights to create a dynamic aesthetic and interesting shadows. The final result is a beautifully designed and handcrafted product that can be hung on the wall or mounted on a mantle.

Another successful NSW Government’s environmental awards hosted by Environment Minister Robyn Parker at a ceremony held at NSW Parliament House.
We created these unique handcrafted custom awards from recovered materials including 100% recyclable aluminium and Tasmanian Oak hardwood. The result is a stunning eco friendly and sustainable custom award design that can be appreciated for many years to come.
