This unique custom award was designed to highlight the client’s core business of construction management. We combined several different materials that would typically be found on a construction site including metal, wood and concrete. The inclusion of concrete was especially important as this is an easily recognizable construction material and it provides a nice contrast against the finely finished wood and metal on the award.

This is one of our favourite custom employee service awards! This award beautifully demonstrates how different materials can complement each other. The materials used in this award include cast concrete, diamond polished acrylic and solid walnut. Concrete is not a commonly used material in award production but here at Andrew Watson Design, we like to push the boundaries when it comes to innovative design

This concept is inspired by stacked cardboard boxes, as Pitney Bowes is a company known for shipping and handling products. The oak blocks are laser engraved on each side, and feature a finely detailed pattern which matches the UV printed acrylic on top.

A custom design specifically for the 2017 Canadian Mining Hall of Fame Awards ceremony. We crafted these by hand with each metal panel being formed at random to reference the natural layers of the earths surface and subsurfaces. An organic approach together with our state of the art machinery ensured the final product represented a work of art rather than an award.
