iFixit approached Watson Design to create an award that symbolized a repairability theme. The goal of the award is to applaud designers for managing to integrate repairability functions into a beautiful form - so we set out to do the same with our design.

Using a meganite backing, we applied anodized aluminum to create a hand and wrench - aligning with the iFixit brand and award theme. UV flatbed prints allowed us to add suitable colors to the shapes and apply the iFixit colorway and logos for further branding.

The finished product is a completely unique and bespoke modern award that distinctly reflects the iFixit brand and hit the requirements on the client brief to provide awards that will show genuine gratitude to the recipients.
