Our brief for this project was to create a tall, solid and modern award that would compliment the building industry theme. These awards are given to the most accomplished builders and construction companies in the Vancouver area so they needed to look high-end. We created the awards with a solid piece of clear acrylic which gave the award a lot of weight and finished it off with some hand formed gold anodized aluminium. We included some subtle housing and roofing references with the peaked shapes being incorporated into the award.
