Hunter PR commissioned Watson Design to craft unique and modern custom sports trophies for the Golf Writers Association of America (GWAA). Our aim was to develop beautiful awards that the GWAA could continue to use for years to come.

Mirror polished black acrylic with a subtle printed pattern makes up the main body while the head of the awards made from three layers of aluminum, intricately cut and matte anodized into a trio of differing colors. Printed on the front layer is custom text and a GWAA brand logo.

We utilized the metal and color theme again for the base, this time with the layers cut into rectangles and stacked upon one another. The finished awards showcase how we modernize traditional trophy designs through our unique concepts and creative use of materials.
