These custom plaques were made for a local timber company, FrasierWood. FrasierWood supplied the recovered wood, for the custom plaques, from their yard offcuts. We processed the recovered wood, in-house, to make it look new. The species of wood is called Douglas Fir and is native to Western North America. It has a lovely orange hue and a pronounced grain that creates a lot of visual interest and contrast.
