Watson Design specializes in creating custom winners trophies accompanied by smaller designs to act as runners up or secondary awards.

For XPRIZE, we created a family of futuristic trophies designed in ascending size from participation awards to first place. Maintaining the same theme, we crafted a selection of staff and judges plaques to complete a fine array of unique modern awards.

The trophies are made using an anodized aluminum outline to create the X shape. Black painted bamboo with a matte finish acts as the filler on one side of the X with anodized aluminum plates either side.

The finishing touches are applied through UV flatbed prints to provide corporate branding, and pink vinyl cut numbers to outline the year and add intricate detail.

The plaques follow a similar design but feature bamboo and - either charcoal or black - aluminum around the X to create the rectangular shape.

Utilizing pink and white acrylics adds subtle colored detail to round off a modern plaque design. Find out more about these awards in our blog post.
