Having worked with Inductive Automation for eight years, we know the importance of creating unique, on-brand, and exciting awards for their annual Ignition Community Conference.
For 2022, we crafted shark fin shaped awards from charcoal meganite. The jagged pattern on the front of the award was achieved using a 3D printed mold to reproduce the design in a casting resin. This was painted with a matte finish using the color outlined to us in the Inductive Automation style guide.
On the reverse side are white flatbed printed stars with a clear gloss overprint. The glossy theme is continued on the front logo, maintaining a smooth and sleek aesthetic.
Down the side of the award sits a charcoal anodized aluminum plate, accompanied by UV flatbed printed logos and text, bringing the meganite together and rounding off the award with a clean and sophisticated appearance.
Meganite was the primary material for the runners-up awards too — this time colored black and shaped in a triangle. The logo within was crafted using black acrylic with a gloss finish, and the surrounding intricate pattern painted blue with a matte finish. To maintain resemblance with the winners award, these also featured the same charcoal anodized aluminum plate accompanied by UV flatbed printed logos and text on the side.
